One aspect of cars that often goes unnoticed by the casual fan is the concept car. Typically designed for an auto show in order to showcase a new design or new technology, the concept car is not always put into production. This gives the designers a lot more leeway than they would have with a normal mass-produced car, as the vehicle can exhibit many qualities that would make it either impractical or impossible to produce or drive. While some designs do make it to the factory, these usually aren't the kind of cars you will see pop up at your local Volvo dealerships in NJ.

The Volvo Concept You is one such design that a Volvo dealer would love to get his hands on. The front and rear doors aren't separated by anything, giving a very lovely view of the inside when they are both open. The "You" moniker comes from the fact that the car was designed around the driver and passenger, with knobs and buttons removed in favor of touchscreen control. The exterior is inspired by the classic Volvo models. Its impracticality and lack of production means you can't hit up NJ Volvo dealers, but you can always dream. In fact, dreaming may be the whole point, when it comes to concept cars.
