While you can find a new Volvo to fit your needs at Smythe Volvo, we're sure some people would think a supermini is fun to drive. A what? We know it as a subcompact here in America, but that's what they call them in Europe. Anyway, if certain things line up right, Volvo will consider building a hybrid or electric one, further enhancing it's already prestigious lineup.

According to Lex Kerssemakers, Volvo's product planning chief, the automaker will make a small, eco-friendly vehicle if it can find a partner to share the platform with. There haven't been any developments on this so far, but it's on the discussion table, so maybe we'll hear more about it soon.

But, it's not like there's a lack of any Volvo news recently. We all know about the V60 arriving to our shores soon. It has a plug-in hybrid that is quite popular in Europe, too. Maybe it comes to Summit, NJ as well?

There's also the big redesigns set to take place using Scalable Architecture to improve the S60 and XC90 for the next generation.

The best part is you can read about all these updates right here on the Smythe Volve blog, as we strive to keep you informed. We also invite you to stop in to our showroom at 326 Morris Avenue where we'd be happy to go in to greater detail on new Volvo models that interest you, answer any questions you might have, and set up a test drive in one that sticks out and catches your eye.
