On Sunday December 8th in Millburn NJ, Smythe Volvo will help sponsor the American Red Cross's 2013 Run For The Red 5K and Fun Walk. This event will raise money for the mission of the Red Cross. Besides assisting with SuperStorm Sandy, last year the Red Cross North New Jersey Region responded to 478 local disasters and helped 1250 families displaced due to home fires. In addition to being a great cause to support, Run For The Red will also be a lot of fun as a participant or attendee. It will have:
1- Fundraising prizes and race awards to 5K finishers by age group & by team
2- Door prizes and a DJ
3- Snacks after the race along with team photos
Smythe Volvo will have three representatives participating in the event. They are VP & Service Director Sean Flanagan, Digital Marketing Manager Patrick Nash and Sales & Leasing Consultant PJ Lee. In addition to helping sponsor the event, we have created a Smythe Volvo Run For The Red fundraising site. We have set a goal of raising $500. We ask that our customers and anyone else willing to help to please consider donating through our site. We all know how invaluable the American Red Cross has been in our lives.
