If you are looking for a fun, creative and educational weekend event for your family, look no further than Come Build Summit on Sunday January 26th. On that day at the Washington Elementary School at 507 Morris Avenue, 50 families will use roughly 60,000 LEGO pieces to recreate 50 historic and civic Summit buildings. Once the buildings are completed, they are placed in their appropriate place on a map of Summit laid out on the gymnasium floor. This event is sponsored by Smythe Volvo and Coldwell Banker of Summit, NJ. Smythe Volvo will have LEGO construction of not only their current location at 326 Morris Avenue in Summit but their future location of 36-42 River Road in Summit, NJ that will open the Spring of 2014.

During the event, you can pick up a free "Architectural Treasure Map" that highlights each of the 50 historic and civic buildings that were chosen. After the event, the maps can be picked up at either Smythe Volvo or Coldwell Banker. Picking up these maps and taking your family on an exploration of Summit to locate these buildings is a memorable family bonding experience.

If you are interested in taking part in the event, you must register in person at either Smythe Volvo (326 Morris Avenue in Summit) or Coldwell Banker (401 Springfield Avenue in Summit). Registration is limited to the first 50 families signed up. There will be a waiting list and viewers are welcome at the event at no charge. The minimum donation of $25 per family benefits the Summit Historical Society.

Again, this is a family event that is not to be missed. Smythe Volvo employees have participated in Come Build Summit in the past. The positive and exciting vibe created as families work together to race to get their LEGO building done is something your family will remember for long time. Smythe Volvo is looking forward to seeing you there at Come Build Summit!
