The Volvo XC40 has been getting a lot of attention lately and it's not hard to see why. The new compact SUV is designed for urban environments and offers an interior that is comfortable, spacious, and luxurious. From the moment you step inside this vehicle, you'll feel like royalty with the soft leather seats (including heated front seats) and other modern amenities such as power seats, sunroofs, storage compartments galore, and even an optional subwoofer.
The exterior of the XC40 is clearly inspired by Volvo's more aesthetically pleasing sibling, the XC60, which has been on the streets of North America for around two years. The LED headlights come standard on all trims, including T5 Momentum, T4 AWD R-Design, and T5 Inscription. The front portion of the XC40 looks modern with its narrow headlights, shiny grille, and other defining features such as the wave-shaped body line from the side view mirrors to the front corners of the vehicle.
A closer look at the rear end of this compact SUV reveals a curved roofline, which is accentuated by a subtle spoiler. For those who want something more premium, there's even an optional tonneau cover integrated into the boot lid, which reminds us of Audi's clean and luxurious S Line design.
