For Volvo model year 2023, updates have been made across the lineup available to New Jersey.

And with these innovations, more comprehensive and uncluttered is the approach to Volvo luxury model selection. There’s also a degree of sustainability offered those models having remained fuel-fired in 2022.

As the premier, branded dealership in New Jersey, Smythe Volvo Cars is the tip-of-spear in offering all that Volvo builds upon.

What’s New to Volvo for 2023

In keeping with branded innovating, several updates have been made to the Volvo lineup for 2023.

There are the mild-hybrid enhancements made to Volvo XC40 SUVs and Volvo V60 Cross Country wagons. The following details highlight this new generation of powertrain:

  • Spent braking energy is converted into a viable power source that lessens fuel consumption.
  • There’s never the need of a plugged-in charge.
  • With less fuel consumed, reduced are emissions released.

As well, Google applications have been built into interior spaces and voice activated. Simply say, “Hey Google” and you’ve got hands-free connectivity and convenience to your daily routine in the following:

  • Google Maps will direct you to Yale New Haven Medical Center.
  • Google Assistant will arrange dinner reservations
  • Google Play lends downloading of drive-friendly applications while spiriting down I-95.

And a total revamping of Volvo equipment levels has been undertaken, too.

New Volvo Trim Levels

Over the years, Volvo began a paring down of trim levels.

With many automakers, trim levels and related details may become overwhelming for the average client to comprehend.

As such, the older trims of Momentum, R-Design and Inscription have been discontinued. In their stead are equipment levels offering the client a mix-match approach to trim features selected and exterior executions implemented.

Previously, exterior executions were strictly limited and exclusive to trim choice. The client may now choose a trim interior and desired exterior of Base, Dark or Bright to complement the model of preference.

In place of the Momentum base-model trim is Core.

Covering all the standard equipment offered a Volvo model, Core extends various features of the following to Volvo XC60 with the Base exterior execution:

  • LED headlamps and bright window trim.
  • 18-inch alloy wheels and integrated roof rails.
  • City Weave upholstery and Iron Ore metal mesh inlays.

The Plus equipment level is most closely related to the previous R-Design trim. This will be well-equipped Volvo XC90 with many of the features most Volvo clients wish to savor.

Your Plus trim with Dark exterior would be the model greeting you as you enter the showroom, with key elements of the following:

  • Leathered seating surfaces and wood inlays.
  • Front grille accented by high-gloss black mesh and 20-inch diamond-cut wheels.
  • Black integrated roof rails and matching window trim.

Ultimate represents the highly equipped Volvo for the most demanding of clients.

Here, all your desired features are included in a Volvo model outfitted per elevated taste and discernment. You’re never left wanting or in need, with the following key aspects denoting your Ultimate trim with Bright exterior execution:

  • Bright chrome bars to front grille and chromed window trim.
  • Hidden tailpipes and brightly integrated roof rails.
  • Choice of perforated Nappa leather or wool blend seating surfaces.

Should you have questions regarding these new trim choices and exterior executions, we recommend visiting our local, Smythe Volvo dealership in New Jersey dealership.
