    I started here at Smythe Volvo at the age of 17 as a Porter. Over the years I became an Apprentice Mechanic, Mechanic, Sales Consultant, Sales Manager, General Manager, Owner then President/CEO. My favorite aspect of working at Smythe Volvo is the interaction with our customers. It's a pleasure to get to know them personally and to see them happy with our level of service. My favorite Volvo model is the 1965 P1800. It's a sporty and extremely durable vehicle that signifies the heritage of Volvo. It's silhouette can be seen in the Smythe Volvo logo. Outside of work my complete focus is on my wonderful wife and six children.

    Sean Flanagan25 YEARS OF SERVICE

    I have over twenty five years of service here at Smythe Volvo. When I started here, I was pulling weeds, dumping oil buckets and doing general facility maintenance. Eventually I progressed from a Technician to a Master Technician, Service Advisor, Service Manager then Service Director. My favorite part of working here at Smythe Volvo is that we invest our business energy into safety. Over the years, we've had many customers who survived accidents because they were in a Volvo.  Additionally, we've had many police officers who come in and bought a Volvo because they've been at the scene of an accident and seen how a Volvo saved a person's life. My favorite Volvo is the S60R. It's a rocketship that is tight, fast, lots of horsepower and looks good. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, specifically going for walks with my three sons.

Whether it's a 1960's Volvo P1800 or brand new XC90, my department and I will make sure you are well taken care of. My favorite Volvo is the 2016 XC90.  It looks great, defines luxury and has plenty of space for my wife and five daughters.     I have been with Smythe Volvo for over 4 years and have over eight years of experience in the automotive industry. The one thing I love the most about working for Smythe Volvo is how experience the staff is and how long they have been here for. It is very rare to find a company that the average employee time is over 10 years. I have had the opportunity to move in the business by working for this company and I couldn't be happier. If I had to choose my favorite Volvo, right now it would be the V60 Cross Country. It has just a great ride and you get that extra little bit of height without being too high off the ground. When I'm not at Smythe you can find me baking, making crafts, and spending time with my boyfriend and family.

    I've been in the car business now for over 15 years and have been with Smythe Volvo for just about a year.  Besides working with the best people in the industry here at Smythe, I also love working with our customers and providing them with the best possible car buying experience.  My favorite Volvo is the Volvo S60T5 AWD Inscription. It's sporty drive and aggressive styling  and handling make it a pleasure to drive. When I'm not at Smythe I enjoy spending time down the Jersey Shore with my family and friends…cooking and travel.

I have a large family so the XC60 works great for me because of it's size, safety and reliability. When I'm not here at Smythe Volvo, I enjoy cooking as well as spending time with my wife and five children.

    I've been working for Smythe Volvo for over a year now. I truly love the family atmosphere and the ability to openly communicate with anyone at any time. My favorite Volvo is the XC70, it has plenty of space to store all of my sports equipment and is a truly versatile vehicle. When I'm not working I enjoy riding and racing dirt bikes in addition to spending time outdoors camping, fishing, or hiking with my wife and daughters in the Adirondacks.

    I've been employed as a Volvo service specialist for 35 years, both as a repair technician and as a service advisor. I consider Volvos to be among the best vehicles on the road, and I've owned and driven nothing but Volvos for the past three decades. My current favorite is an all-wheel-drive XC70 which is roomy, versatile, and very comfortable for long trips. It has served me well as a daily-driver and family vacation/recreation vehicle, easily transporting bikes, canoes, kayaks, and gear.

    I have thirty years of service here at Smythe Volvo. The complete level of comfort in knowing all the employees and customers very well is definitely the best part about working here. My favorite Volvo is the Cross Country Wagon. It's an AWD utility vehicle but still more like a car than a truck. It also has a good track record mechanically, performs and handles well. When I'm away from work, spending time with my family is my number one priority, especially with my two children.

    I have been working at smythe Volvo for over a year now. It's great coming to a place where everybody is family. Knowing customer like friends. I have been in the automotive industry for 5 years now. From technician to customer service. I enjoy being a service advisor because explaining to customer what is wrong with their vehicle and having the ability for them to understand how their vehicle works beings me great joy.
    My favorite Volvo is v60. very sporty and still give the versatility of a wagon.

    I have been a part of the Smythe Volvo team for several years, with a strong background in customer service and the automotive industry. What I enjoy most about my work is the upbeat energetic environment and the ability to diligently maintain customer satisfaction. Working with experienced, motivated management with high standards and expectations is refreshing in the automobile industry. I see myself behind the wheel of the Volvo S60 T5. The sporty styling is most appealing and as with all Volvo models, it boasts strong safety standards. Outside of the work environment I enjoy a healthy lifestyle, eating right and working out at the gym. I also love the beach, kayaking and spending as much time with my two boys as possible.

When not here at Smythe Volvo, I like to spend time with my friends and family. I also volunteer to help raise money for our veterans through the American Legion    .
